Delodryl Junior Syrup 60ml is used to treat cough, sneezing, and runny nose caused by common colds and respiratory allergies in children. It helps relieve upper respiratory allergies, reduce sneezing and runny nose, ease throat and nose itching, and minimize itchy or watery eyes.

Delodryl Junior Syrup 60ml contains two active ingredients:

Chlorpheniramine (2 mg): This is a first-generation antihistamine that works by blocking histamine activity at H1-receptor sites in the nose, eyes, and airways. By doing so, it reduces reactions such as inflammation and mucus secretion which are common in allergic responses.

Dextromethorphan (5 mg): This cough suppressant acts by crossing into the brain and binding to certain receptors in the medulla. This action helps elevate the cough threshold and diminishes sensitivity to cough reflexes in the central nervous system thereby reducing frequent coughing.
