• Thiazides and Corticosteroids like hydrochlorothiazide or prednisolone may reduce the blood sugar-lowering effect of the medicine.
• Oral contraceptives and Estrogen, such as ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel, can decrease the hypoglycaemic effect of Debistal M 1 MG Tablet 10.
• H2 blockers such as cimetidine can increase metformin levels in your body, enhancing its action.
• Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors like acetazolamide can increase the risk of lactic acidosis when used with metformin in Debistal M 1 MG Tablet 10.
