Desvenlafaxine (50 Mg)

D Veniz Tablet is used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) or depression. It helps manage symptoms such as changes in appetite or weight, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and loss of energy, contributing to overall emotional well-being.

You may also experience difficulty in concentrating or making decisions. It can potentially affect the ability to work, study, eat, sleep, and enjoy daily activities. The severity and duration of these symptoms can vary from person to person.

This tablet helps restore the balance of chemicals in the brain and reduce the depression symptoms.The composition of D Veniz tablet includes Desvenlafaxine.

D Veniz 50 is generally considered safe when prescribed by a doctor. However, it is contraindicated in patients with a history of seizures, liver or kidney problems, heart conditions and low blood sodium levels.

Treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD): D Veniz tablet is commonly prescribed to manage symptoms of major depressive disorder (MDD). It helps improve mood, reduce feelings of sadness, and alleviate various symptoms associated with depression.

Swallow D Veniz tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

D Veniz tablet is administered orally.

Dizziness: Avoid sudden changes in posture, such as standing up quickly from a sitting or lying position. Rest until the dizziness subsides.

Desvenlafaxine, the active ingredient in D Veniz tablet, belongs to a class of medications known as serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Which works by affecting serotonin and norepinephrine, the chemicals in the brain. These chemicals regulate mood. By doing so, it helps to improve mood, reduce feelings of sadness, and alleviate symptoms of depression.

Pregnancy

D Veniz tablet is not recommended for pregnant women. It may harm the growing foetus. Consult your doctor to know the risks of using this tablet during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotic such as Midazolam
Serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS) antidepressants such as Nefazodone
Antipsychotic medication such as Perphenazine
Opioid analgesics such as Tramadol
