CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of essential hypertension in adults.

• Prevention of potential strokes due to high blood pressure.

• Lowering the risk of heart attacks by controlling blood pressure.

• Helping to prevent kidney problems associated with elevated blood pressure.

While taking CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet, follow these guidelines:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take your dosage at the same time each day for consistency.

• Do not change the dosage or stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet is taken orally.

CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): As a diuretic, this component increases urine production, thus eliminating excess salt and water from your body. This reduction in fluid volume effectively lowers blood volume and pressure.

• Telmisartan (20 mg): This ingredient belongs to the class of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Its function is to block the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure. As a result, your blood vessels relax and widen, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Keep CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet stored at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• The container should remain tightly closed to protect the tablets from moisture and light.

• Make sure the storage area is out of reach of children for their safety.
