Coaprovel 150/12.5 MG Tablet 14 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Coaprovel 150/12.5 MG Tablet 14:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day for the best effect.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

• Never stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Coaprovel 150/12.5 MG Tablet 14 is taken orally.

Coaprovel 150/12.5 MG Tablet 14 contains two active ingredients:

• Irbesartan (150 mg): This component belongs to a group called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by blocking the action of a natural substance called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this narrowing effect, irbesartan allows blood vessels to relax and widen, lowering blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This is a diuretic or "water pill" that increases the amount of urine your body produces. It works on your kidneys to remove excess salt and water from your body, reducing blood volume and thereby lowering blood pressure. It also helps blood vessels dilate (widen), which further reduces blood pressure.
