Cipdapla M 5/1000 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate blood sugar control, and to reduce the risk of hospitalisation for heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes and established heart disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors.

Uses of Cipdapla M 5/1000 Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Helps control blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.
• Heart Failure Risk Reduction: Helps reduce the risk of hospitalisation for heart failure in high-risk adults with type 2 diabetes.

You should take Cipdapla M 5/1000 Tablet 10 in the following way:

• Metformin (1000 mg): Metformin works by decreasing glucose production in the liver and reducing glucose absorption in the intestines. Additionally, it enhances insulin sensitivity, promoting better glucose uptake and utilisation in peripheral tissues, ultimately lowering blood sugar levels.
