CompositionC Fresh L Tablet is an antihistamine medicine used to treat symptoms of seasonal and perennial (year-round) allergies, such as hay fever, as well as allergic skin conditions like hives (urticaria). It provides relief from sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin rashes.
It contains levocetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine that selectively blocks histamine H1 receptors in the body. Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed, with or without food. It is often taken in the evening as it may cause mild drowsiness in some people.
Minimising contact with known allergens can improve allergy control. Keep windows closed during high pollen counts, clean dust-prone areas regularly, keep pets out of bedrooms, and wear protective eyewear outdoors if sensitive to airborne allergens.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have severe kidney impairment, urinary retention issues, or epilepsy. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this tablet as it may increase drowsiness. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
