Budamate Forte Transcap is used for the following:

• Regular management of asthma in adults and children over 6 years of age

• Control and prevention of symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness

• Management of moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Here's how you should use Budamate Forte Transcap:

• Inhale the contents of one capsule twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, about 12 hours apart.

• Make sure you only use the inhaler device provided with the medicine to inhale the capsules.

• Remember not to swallow the capsules.

• Always refer to the instructions that come with your medication for proper use of the inhaler.

• In case of any doubts, consult your doctor.

Budamate Forte Transcap contains two active ingredients:

• Budesonide (400 mcg): As a corticosteroid, budesonide works by reducing inflammation in your airways. This process is dose-dependent, meaning that the more you take, the more it reduces inflammation, thereby lowering the chances of your asthma worsening.

• Formoterol Fumarate (12 mcg): Classified as a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist, formoterol acts on the muscles in your airway tract. Relaxing these muscles opens up your airways which relieves breathlessness.

• Store Budamate Forte Transcap in a cool, dry place, ideally at a temperature below 25°C.
