Formonide Forte Respicaps 30

FORMONIDE FORTE RESPICAPS 30 is used for the following:

• Treatment of persistent asthma in adults
• Prevention of asthma symptoms and attacks
• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
• Relief of airflow obstruction in COPD patients
• Control of breathing difficulties in chronic bronchitis
• Maintenance therapy for emphysema
• Long-term control of respiratory conditions
• Reduction of inflammation in airways
• Management of moderate to severe asthma

Follow these instructions while using FORMONIDE FORTE RESPICAPS 30:

• Use this medicine only with the Aerolizer inhaler device provided.

• Do not swallow the capsule whole.

• Place the capsule in the device chamber as shown in the instruction leaflet.

• Breathe in deeply and steadily through the mouthpiece to inhale the medicine.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent throat irritation.

• Consult your doctor if you need specific advice about using this medicine.

FORMONIDE FORTE RESPICAPS 30 is administered via inhalation.

FORMONIDE FORTE RESPICAPS 30 contains two active ingredients:

• Budesonide (400 mcg): This is a corticosteroid that works by binding to glucocorticoid receptors in the airways. It reduces inflammation, swelling, and irritation in the lungs, making breathing easier and preventing asthma symptoms.

• Formoterol fumarate (12 mcg): This is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist that stimulates specific receptors called beta2 receptors in the lungs. This action causes the muscles surrounding your airways to relax and expand, allowing more air flow and making breathing easier.

• Store FORMONIDE FORTE RESPICAPS 30 at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Do not freeze the capsules.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date and do not use it after this date has passed.

• Avoid smoking and second-hand smoke exposure, as these can worsen your asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms and reduce the effectiveness of your medicine.

• Try to maintain a healthy weight through balanced nutrition, as excess weight can put additional pressure on your lungs and make breathing difficulties worse.
