Brivetam 50 Tablet is used to control partial-onset seizures in adults and adolescents with epilepsy. It helps reduce the frequency and severity of seizure episodes, supporting daily activity and safety.
It contains brivaracetam and belongs to the class of antiepileptic medicines. Take it as prescribed, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop taking it suddenly, as stopping abruptly can trigger rebound seizures or increase seizure frequency.
Getting adequate rest, managing daily stress levels, and avoiding known seizure triggers form an important part of overall epilepsy management alongside your prescribed medication.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver problems, kidney conditions, or a history of mood disorders or depression. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without specialist medical advice.
