Brinzox T Eye Drops are used to lower raised pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Keeping eye pressure under control helps protect the optic nerve and reduce the risk of vision loss.
It is a combination of two medicines that reduce the production of fluid inside the eye. Use the drops exactly as prescribed. After applying, press gently on the inner corner of the eye for about one minute to reduce the amount absorbed into the body, and close your eyes gently.
Attending all eye clinic follow-up appointments and having your eye pressure checked regularly helps your doctor see whether the drops are working well. Tell your doctor if your vision changes.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any breathing problems (such as asthma), a slow heart rate, heart failure, or kidney disease, as the timolol component is a beta-blocker and can be absorbed into the body. Also tell your doctor about any planned eye surgery. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
