Brakke Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat various mixed bacterial and parasitic infections in the body. It is prescribed for infections affecting the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, and the reproductive organs.
It contains ofloxacin and ornidazole, providing broad-spectrum coverage against a wide range of harmful microorganisms. It works by preventing bacteria from multiplying and destroying disease-causing parasites. Take the tablet with food to reduce the likelihood of stomach upset and complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
Staying well hydrated and consuming light, easily digestible meals can support recovery, particularly during gastrointestinal infections. Avoid drinking alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after finishing the medication to prevent adverse interactions.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any history of tendon problems, neurological disorders, liver conditions, or heart rhythm issues. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical guidance. Contact your doctor if you experience severe dizziness or allergic reactions.
