Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of hypertension in adults

• Prevention of stroke in at-risk patients

• Management of left ventricular hypertrophy

• Control of blood pressure in kidney disease

• Regulation of fluid balance in the body

• Prevention of heart-related complications

• Management of resistant hypertension

• Long-term blood pressure control

Follow these instructions while taking Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food or as directed by your doctor.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly even if you feel well.

• Never stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This is a type of water pill (diuretic) that works on your kidneys to increase the amount of salt and water removed from your body as urine, which helps reduce the volume of blood and thereby lowers blood pressure.

• Losartan (50 mg): This component belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II that causes blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this narrowing effect, losartan helps blood vessels relax and widen, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

• Store your Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10 at room temperature (20-25°C).

• Keep the medicine in its original container with the lid tightly closed.

• Protect from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.

• Store in a dry place away from bathroom areas.

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce sodium intake: Limit salt in your diet to help manage hypertension (high blood pressure). Avoid processed foods, pickles, and packaged snacks which often contain hidden sodium.

• Maintain a healthy weight: Regular physical activity for 30 minutes most days helps control blood pressure and improves the effectiveness of blood pressure medicines like Bilosar 6.25 Tablet 10.
