Bidin-LS Eye Drops are used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Lowering eye pressure helps protect the optic nerve and preserve vision, particularly when one medicine is not enough.
They contain brimonidine and timolol, two medicines that lower eye pressure by reducing fluid production; brimonidine also improves fluid drainage. Benzalkonium chloride is included as a preservative. Use the drops in the affected eye as prescribed.
After putting in the drops, close your eye and press gently on the inner corner for about a minute. Use them regularly to keep eye pressure controlled, and remove contact lenses before use if your doctor advises this.
Because some timolol can be absorbed into the body, tell your doctor about any asthma, breathing problems, slow heartbeat or other heart problems before use. Report marked eye redness, eye pain, breathing difficulty or changes in vision promptly.
