Betafoam 0.1 % Cream 30 GM

BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM is used in the short-term management of steroid-responsive inflammatory skin disorders and acute dermatoses flare-ups.

Uses of BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM are:

• Inflammation and Rash Suppression: Targets underlying chemical triggers to relieve severe redness, skin scaling, and swelling.

• Intense Itch Alleviation: Calms localised nerve sensitivity to soothe persistent itching and structural irritation caused by eczema or psoriasis.

• Acute Flare-Up Control: Provides effective short-term intervention to restore barrier functionality during stubborn dermatological flares.

• Before applying BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM, carefully cleanse and dry the afflicted skin.
• Apply a little coating of the cream to the afflicted area and surrounding skin using clean, dry hands.
• Massage the cream into your skin until completely absorbed.
• Wash your hands well after applying the cream to avoid spreading the sickness or getting the cream in your eyes or mouth.
• Keep this cream away from your mouth and nostrils. 
• Your doctor will determine the proper dose based on your age, body weight, and the severity of the infection.

BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM is applied topically on the skin.

BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM contains the following components:

• Betamethasone Valerate (0.10 % w/w): It is a steroid and functions by relieving swelling and irritation.
• Chlorocresol (0.1 % w/w): It belongs to the category of anti-infective medications. It effectively combats bacterial infections occurring on the skin.

• Store BETAFOAM 0.1 % CREAM 30 GM at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep this cream away from children.
• Do not use the cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Eating a well-balanced, healthy diet is essential.
• This diet should contain fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
• Avoid the intake of processed foods, sweetened beverages, too much salt, and saturated fats. It's important to periodically check your blood sugar levels and modify your diet if you have diabetes.
• Smoking can aggravate psoriasis.
• Excessive alcohol use can also increase the risk of liver disorders and interfere with the effectiveness of some medications.
• Limit your intake of foods that may cause allergies, such as dairy, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• It would be beneficial to reduce stress, and maintaining a regular sleep schedule.
• Avoid contact with abrasive soaps, detergents, and rough materials.
