Benz Pearls Capsule 10

Benz Pearls Capsule 10 is used for relieving dry cough. It is formulated with Benzonatate USP 100 mg, an active ingredient that works by numbing the stretch receptors in the respiratory tract, reducing the cough reflex. This medication provides relief from symptoms such as watery eyes, sneezing and a runny nose caused by dry cough. 

• Benzonatate (100 mg): Benzonatate (100 mg) acts as a non-narcotic antitussive (cough suppressant). It works by numbing the stretch receptors in the respiratory tract, lungs and pleura, effectively reducing the cough reflex. This helps in alleviating dry, non-productive coughs by dampening the irritation that triggers the cough response. Benzonatate is especially useful in providing relief from a persistent dry cough caused by viral infections, colds or other irritants in the airways.

• Helps Alleviate Dry Cough: Benz Pearls is effective for managing dry cough, a non-productive cough that does not produce mucous. It works by numbing the stretch receptors in the respiratory tract, reducing the activity of the cough reflex. • Helps Relieve Respiratory Irritation: In addition to suppressing the cough reflex, Benz Pearls also helps alleviate other common symptoms of respiratory irritation, such as watery eyes, sneezing, and a runny nose. It is particularly useful when these symptoms accompany a dry cough caused by viral infections or irritation from environmental factors.
   
• For Short-Term Cough Relief: Benz Pearls is recommended for the short-term regimen of dry cough. It is designed to provide relief while the underlying cause of the cough (e.g., viral infection or mild throat irritation) resolves. It is not suitable for chronic coughs, such as those caused by smoking, emphysema, or asthma.

• For Adults and Children above 10 years: 3 capsules a day or as directed by the physician. 
• Not for children below 10 years of age. 

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Store at 25°C.
• Capsule to be swallowed whole. Do not chew.
• Swallow the capsule with water. Do not cut, chew or break the capsule while taking it.
