It binds to penicillin-binding proteins which are vital for the formation of peptidoglycan, a key component of the bacterial cell wall. This action causes bacteria to lose their ability to survive.

• Dicloxacillin (250 mg): Similar to amoxicillin, dicloxacillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic that operates by disrupting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It is especially effective against certain strains of Staphylococcus aureus that are resistant to regular penicillins.
