Baralgan NU Tablet is used to relieve sharp, cramping abdominal pain caused by spasms in the stomach, intestines, kidneys, or bile ducts, and to ease painful menstrual cramps.
It contains dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, and paracetamol, a pain reliever, together as a combination medicine. Take it with or after food as prescribed. Continue the course as directed by your doctor even if the pain has settled.
Applying a warm compress to the abdomen, resting in a comfortable position, and avoiding heavy or spicy meals during an episode of colic can help ease discomfort alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, urinary retention, or liver problems before starting. As this medicine can cause mild dizziness or a dry mouth, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
