Colimex Tablet is a combination antispasmodic and analgesic medicine used to relieve severe abdominal pain, muscle spasms, stomach cramps, and intestinal pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
It contains dicyclomine and paracetamol. Dicyclomine relaxes the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines to relieve painful spasms, while paracetamol blocks pain signals. Take the tablet with water as directed by your physician.
Eating light, non-spicy meals, increasing dietary fibre gradually, avoiding carbonated drinks, and drinking adequate water help reduce intestinal gas and abdominal cramps.
Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, enlarged prostate, severe liver or kidney disease, or ulcerative colitis before taking this medicine. Avoid driving if you experience blurred vision or lightheadedness.
