Aziwok 500 Tablet 5

Aziwok-500 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissues. It is also effective against certain sexually transmitted infections. The medicine works by stopping bacterial growth and reducing infection-related inflammation.

• Swallow Aziwok 500 mg tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew this medicine, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the dose of the medicine or take them more often than prescribed.

Aziwok 500 should be administered orally.

• Azithromycin, the active ingredient in Aziwok 500 mg tablet, is an antibiotic medication with a broad spectrum of activity against various bacterial infections. It belongs to the macrolide class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins, thereby preventing the growth and multiplication of bacteria. 
• This antibiotic is effective against a wide range of bacteria. Targeting bacterial infection, it helps relieve symptoms and promote recovery. It is not effective against viral infections.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Aziwok tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Drink plenty of fluids, such as water and herbal teas, to stay hydrated and support the body's immune system in fighting the infection.
• Consume a well-balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. These provide essential nutrients and antioxidants to support the immune system.
• Incorporate foods high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, and broccoli. Vitamin C helps boost the immune system and promotes healing.
• Include probiotic-rich foods like yoghurt, kefir, and fermented vegetables to support gut health, which is crucial for a strong immune response.
• Smoking weakens the immune system and can worsen respiratory infections. Quit smoking or avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.
• Practise good hygiene by washing hands regularly, especially before meals, and avoid close contact with individuals who are sick to prevent the spread of infections.
