Avinorm Tablet 10

Avinorm Tablet 10 is used to treat nausea, vomiting, and motion sickness. It helps relieve dizziness and prevents morning sickness symptoms, along with reducing the spinning sensation and imbalance that often accompany vertigo.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or split the tablet.
• You can take this medicine with or without food, as per your comfort.
• Ensure you do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• Consult your doctor before stopping the medication, or if you need to reassess your need for continued treatment.

Avinorm Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Avinorm Tablet 10 is composed of three active ingredients:

• Doxylamine succinate (10 mg): This antihistamine works by blocking histamine-1 (H1) receptors in your brain, specifically in the area controlling vomiting. By doing so, it effectively reduces nausea and vomiting.
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride (10 mg): Also known as vitamin B6, pyridoxine functions as a coenzyme in the creation of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are involved in pathways that regulate nausea and vomiting. A deficiency in vitamin B6 can exacerbate morning sickness symptoms.
• Folic acid (2.5 mg): An essential nutrient, folic acid aids DNA synthesis, red blood cell production and fetal neural development. By correcting any folic acid deficiencies, it contributes to reducing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

• Store Avinorm Tablet 10 at room temperature.
• Keep it in a dry place, away from direct light.
• Always close the container tightly after use.
• Keep it out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Follow a balanced diet rich in B vitamins, particularly B6, as this can help manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Foods high in B6 include bananas, avocados, and chickpeas.
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Dehydration can worsen feelings of nausea and vomiting.
