It belongs to a group of medicines called topical corticosteroids, which calm inflammation in the skin. Apply a thin layer to the affected area only, as directed by your doctor.
Simple skin care supports treatment. Keep the affected skin clean and dry, avoid scratching, and wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce further irritation.
Because this is a steroid cream, do not use it on large areas or for long periods without medical supervision, and avoid using it on the face unless your doctor advises.
