Apristar 125/80 Capsule 3 is used to prevent the nausea and vomiting that can come with chemotherapy. It is used for treatments that are likely to cause moderate to severe sickness, and it can also help prevent nausea and vomiting after surgery.
It belongs to a group of medicines called antiemetics, which help prevent sickness. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually as a short course around the time of chemotherapy.
Simple measures support treatment. Eat small, light meals, sip fluids regularly, and avoid strong smells or greasy foods that can trigger nausea.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver problems and about all other medicines you take, as it can interact with several of them. Complete the full course as advised, even if you feel better early.
