Ampilox Capsule 15

Ampilox Capsule interacts with the following medicines: 

• Antigout medications: Medicines like probenecid and allopurinol can cause prolonged elevated levels of ampicillin in the blood, potentially increasing side effects such as skin rashes.
• Oral contraceptives: The ampicillin in this capsule may lower the effectiveness of oral contraceptives containing ethinyl estradiol and estradiol.
• Bacteriostatic antibiotics: Medicines like chloramphenicol, erythromycin, and tetracycline may interfere with the bactericidal action of ampicillin and cloxacillin, reducing the efficacy of this capsule.

Ampilox Capsule interacts with the following foods: 

• Foods rich in iron can interfere with the absorption of antibiotics in Ampilox Capsule, reducing their effectiveness. Similarly, calcium-rich foods, such as dairy products, can also decrease the absorption of these antibiotics.

Ampilox Capsule interact with the following diseases:

• Infectious mononucleosis: Use of ampicillin in patients with infectious mononucleosis may lead to the development of a rash.
• Kidney disease: Ampilox Capsule should be used cautiously in patients with kidney impairment, as dose adjustments may be necessary.

The daily dose of Ampilox Capsule should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you or someone else takes an excessive amount of Ampilox Capsule by accident, inform your doctor immediately and follow his advice. The overdose symptoms of Ampilox Capsule include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Be vigilant and do not ignore these symptoms.

If you forget to take Ampilox Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
