Aldonil Plus Tablet 10

Aldonil Plus Tablet is used to manage diabetic neuropathy and treat nerve damage caused by diabetes. It helps alleviate symptoms like numbness, tingling, and burning pain in the extremities, prevents further nerve damage, and supports healthy nerve function by protecting against sorbitol accumulation.

Follow these instructions while taking Aldonil Plus Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food.
• Try to take it at the same time each day for best results.
• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
• Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
• If you have trouble swallowing the tablet, consult your doctor.

Aldonil Plus Tablet is taken orally.

Aldonil Plus Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Epalrestat (150 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called aldose reductase in your body. This enzyme normally converts glucose to sorbitol. In diabetic patients, excessive sorbitol can accumulate in nerves, causing damage. By blocking this enzyme, epalrestat helps reduce sorbitol buildup and protects nerves from further damage.
• Methylcobalamin (1.5 mg): This is a form of vitamin B12 that supports healthy nerve function. It helps in the production of myelin, the protective covering around nerve fibres. Methylcobalamin also promotes nerve regeneration and aids in the synthesis of important chemicals needed for proper nerve function.

• Store Aldonil Plus Tablet at room temperature (below 25°C) in its original packaging.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Do not store in bathroom cabinets where humidity levels are high.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Check the expiry date before use and discard if expired.

• Blood sugar management: If you have diabetic neuropathy, maintain consistent blood glucose levels through regular meals and avoiding sugary foods to prevent further nerve damage.

• Foot care: Examine your feet daily for cuts, blisters or sores, as diabetic neuropathy can reduce sensation in your feet, making injuries harder to notice.
