Airz F Capsule 30

Airz-F Capsule is used for the following:

• Long-term maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Management of chronic bronchitis

• Relief of emphysema symptoms

• Maintenance therapy for airflow obstruction

• Reduction of COPD exacerbations

• Long-term control of breathing difficulties in COPD

• Twice-daily maintenance treatment for airway obstruction

Follow these instructions while taking Airz-F Capsule:

• Use only with the Airz inhaler device provided with the medicine.

• Do not swallow the capsules as they are meant for inhalation only.

• Place the capsule in the inhaler device as instructed in the package.

• Inhale the powder deeply through your mouth into the lungs.

• Rinse your mouth with water after use without swallowing to prevent infections.

• Take your doses 12 hours apart, typically in the morning and evening.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Airz-F Capsule is administered via inhalation.

Airz-F Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Formoterol fumarate (12 mcg): This is a long-acting selective beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). It stimulates special receptors called beta2 receptors in your lungs, causing the muscles around your airways to relax and widen. This process, known as bronchodilation, makes breathing easier.

• Glycopyrronium (12.5 mcg): This is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA). It works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a substance that causes narrowing of the airways. By blocking acetylcholine's effects, glycopyrronium helps prevent bronchoconstriction (narrowing of airways) and reduces mucus production in the lungs.

• Store Airz-F Capsule at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep in a dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.

• Protect the capsules from moisture.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the packaging.

• Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water (6-8 glasses daily) can help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to breathe when you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Avoid smoke exposure: Stay away from cigarette smoke and other lung irritants as these can worsen COPD symptoms and reduce the effectiveness of your breathing medicines.
