Aerocort Inhaler is used for the long-term control of asthma in adults and children. It reduces airway inflammation, relaxes the airway muscles and helps prevent wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness. It is not for the relief of a sudden attack.
It contains beclometasone, an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, and levosalbutamol, a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles.
Use it regularly as prescribed, shaking well before use, and rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of thrush.
Tell your doctor about any fungal infections or other respiratory medicines before starting. Keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler available for sudden symptoms.
