Aerocort Forte Rotacaps 30

Aerocort Forte Rotacaps are used for the regular management of asthma.

Uses of Aerocort Forte Rotacaps are:

• Asthma Maintenance: Controls and prevents asthma symptoms with regular use.
• Airway Inflammation: Reduces the inflammation that narrows the airways.
• Easier Breathing: Relaxes the airway muscles to ease breathing.

Follow these instructions while using Aerocort Forte Rotacaps:

• Place the rotacap in the inhaler device as per the device instructions.

• Close the inhaler properly to pierce the rotacap.

• Breathe out fully before placing the inhaler mouthpiece between the lips.

• Inhale deeply and hold your breath for a few seconds.

• Remove the inhaler and breathe out slowly.

• Rinse mouth with water after each use.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice.

• This medication is meant for inhalation purposes only and not to be swallowed.

Aerocort Forte Rotacaps are administered via inhalation orally.

Aerocort Forte Rotacaps contain two active ingredients that work together to help patients breathe more easily:

• Beclomethasone Dipropionate (200 mcg): This corticosteroid reduces inflammation in the airways just the way natural hormones produced by the adrenal glands do. It suppresses the immune system's response in the lungs, which decreases swelling and irritation in the breathing passages.

• Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol (100 mcg): This bronchodilator relaxes airway muscles and opens up breathing passages by activating specific receptors called beta-2 adrenergic receptors on the smooth muscles of the airways.

• Store Aerocort Forte Rotacaps in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 15 - 25°C.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Store in the original packaging to protect from humidity.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid respiratory irritants: Reduce exposure to smoke, dust, strong perfumes and air pollution, as these can trigger asthma and COPD symptoms.

• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water (8-10 glasses daily) to keep your airways' mucus thinner, making it easier to breathe when you have asthma or COPD.
