AB-Flo 100 Capsule is used to manage asthma, bronchitis and COPD.

Uses of AB-Flo 100 Capsule are:

• Asthma: Helps ease breathing by opening the airways.
• Chronic Bronchitis and COPD: Manages long-term airflow obstruction.
• Mucus Clearance: Helps loosen and clear mucus from the airways.

Here's how you should take AB-flo Capsule:

• Follow your doctor's prescription accurately. Do not alter the dosage or stop the medicine without consulting your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• Maintain consistent timings for each dose, ideally with meals, for maximum benefit and fewer side effects.
• Continue taking this medicine regularly to manage symptoms, even if you feel well.
• This medicine is not meant for immediate relief during an asthma attack. If symptoms worsen or there's no improvement after some weeks, inform your doctor.

AB-flo Capsule is taken orally.

AB-flo Capsule contains acebrophylline (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Bronchial Muscle Relaxation: Acebrophylline works by inhibiting certain enzymes known as phosphodiesterase enzymes in your body. This increases levels of a substance called cyclic AMP which promotes the relaxation of muscles around the airways, allowing them to widen.
• Mucolytic Action: In addition to relaxing bronchial muscles, acebrophylline also acts as a mucolytic agent. In simpler terms, it helps to thin and loosen mucus secretions in the lungs and air passages, making it less sticky and easier to cough out.

The combined action of acebrophylline thus helps improve airflow, reduce bronchospasms, and clear mucus congestion - making it easier for you to breathe.

• Store AB-flo Capsule at a standard room temperature, ideally around 25°C.
• Keep it away from excessive heat, light and moisture.
• Do not store it in the bathroom or near a sink.
