Hetrazan 100 Tablet is used for managing the following conditions:

• Parasitic worm infections

• Filariasis (a disease caused by thread-like parasitic roundworms that spread through mosquito bites)

These instructions should be followed while taking Hetrazan 100 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water.

• This medicine should be taken after meals to prevent stomach discomfort.

• It is crucial not to take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medication without speaking to your doctor first.

Hetrazan 100 Tablet is taken orally.

Diethylcarbamazine (100 mg) is the active ingredient in Hetrazan 100 Tablet. It works on your body in the following ways:

• Interferes with Parasite Metabolism: Diethylcarbamazine disrupts various metabolic processes essential for the survival of parasitic worms.

• Inhibits Parasite Mobilisation: The medicine prevents the worm from moving around freely within the body, limiting its ability to spread infection.
