Hydratum Lotion 100 ML

Hydratum Lotion 100 ML is used for supporting skin health. It helps hydrate the skin while reducing moisture loss, making it suitable for dry and sensitive skin types. Enriched with ingredients known for their antioxidant properties, the lotion works to nourish and soothe the skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple, and refreshed. It helps manage mild symptoms associated with eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and xeroderma.  

• Aloe Vera: There are three types of lipids found in the outer layer of your skin: fatty acids, cholesterol and ceramides. These lipids combine to form a tight seal or layer around the skin's cells to hold water inside. Aloe Vera deposits skin-natural lipids, thus helping to replenish those that are lost when the barrier is damaged by washing or other factors. It may also restore lipid function and reinforce the lipid bilayer. 
   
• Vitamin E: Vitamin E promotes healthy skin and hair, might help in managing premature ageing and might reduce spots. Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps reduce cell damage caused by free radicals and the oxidation of fats within the body. 
   
• Squalene: Squalene is naturally produced during cholesterol synthesis and is widely distributed in human tissues. Its major concentrations are in the skin and in the oils secreted by sebaceous glands, which provide a barrier to the skin surface. Squalene helps maintain skin moisture by lubricating the skin surface. Squalene may neutralise the free radical. Squalene may also absorb and bind fat-soluble toxins, helping to excrete them from the body. It may also enhance collagen production and thus nurture skin. 
   
• Olive Oil: Olive oil has excellent moisturising benefits because it contains linoleic acid, which prevents the evaporation of water. Use of olive oil moisturises nail cuticles, maintains the elasticity of skin and maintains a smooth complexion. It reduces Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) by creating a hydrophobic barrier over the skin and contributing to the matrix between corneocytes, and has the most pronounced effect when applied to slightly dampened skin to manage skin hydration. 
   
• Glycerin: Glycerin is a type of humectant which can attract water from two sources; it enhances water absorption from the dermis into the epidermis, and in humid conditions, it also helps absorb water from the external environment. 
   
• Dimethicone: It might reduce the Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) by creating a hydrophobic barrier over the skin and thus retaining moisture. 
   
• Na Lactate and Na Pyrrolidone Carboxylate: NMF is the skin's self-moisturising tool. It's made up of a mixture of water-soluble compounds, such as Na lactate, Na pyrrolidone carboxylate, which bind to water and hold onto it. The skin cells that make up the outermost layer of the epidermis, known as the stratum corneum, may produce and contain NMF (Natural Moisturising Factor) as a way to hydrate the surface layer.

• Reduce Moisture Loss: Dimethicone and olive oil might form a barrier over the skin, minimising transepidermal water loss and maintaining skin softness.

• Manages Eczema, Psoriasis, and Xeroderma: The moisturising effect of squalene and vitamin E supports smoother skin texture, while their antioxidant properties may manage mild discomfort associated with eczema, psoriasis, and xeroderma.
