CompositionMetoz 5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and fluid retention (edema) associated with heart, kidney, or liver conditions. It contains Metolazone 5 mg, a thiazide-like diuretic. It works by helping the body eliminate excess salt and water, which reduces swelling (edema) in conditions like congestive heart failure and liver cirrhosis. By reducing fluid volume, it also helps in controlling hypertension.
Metoz 5 Tablet is used for managing hypertension (high blood pressure), alleviating edema caused by congestive heart failure (fluid buildup due to ineffective heart pumping), reducing fluid retention related to kidney disease, and lessening edema associated with liver cirrhosis.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid breaking, crushing or chewing the tablet.
