Composition

Aceclofenac (100 Mg) + Paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 Mg)

Zynac P Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine used to manage pain and swelling in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used to relieve back pain, dental pain, and acute musculoskeletal pain.

It contains aceclofenac (an NSAID) and paracetamol. Take this tablet after food as prescribed by your doctor to minimise stomach discomfort. Continue taking it as prescribed, but do not exceed the recommended dose or duration.

Drinking adequate fluids helps support kidney function while taking pain-relieving medicines. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing remedies at the same time to prevent accidental double dosing.

Before taking this tablet, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, asthma, kidney or liver disease, or heart conditions. It is not recommended during late pregnancy unless specifically advised by a doctor.

Zynac P Tablet is used for short-term relief of mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever in adults.

Uses of Zynac P Tablet are:

Pain and Inflammation Relief: Reduces pain and joint swelling in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Acute Musculoskeletal Pain: Relieves backache, sprains, toothache, and post-traumatic soft tissue pain.
Fever Reduction: Helps lower elevated body temperature associated with painful inflammatory conditions.

Use Zynac P Tablet 10 following these instructions:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid breaking, chewing, or crushing the tablet.
Always follow the recommended dose provided by your doctor.
Consult your doctor before altering the dose or stopping the medicine.

Digestive: Feeling sick (nausea), vomiting, stomach pain, loose motions (diarrhoea), constipation, indigestion, and loss of appetite.
Nervous System: Dizziness, headache, and sleepiness.

Zynac P Tablet 10 may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, indigestion, dizziness, headache, or feeling sleepy. Most of these effects are mild and usually go away on their own.

Zynac P Tablet 10 consists of two active ingredients that work together to provide relief from pain and inflammation:

Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, aceclofenac reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): Believed to act mainly on the central nervous system, acetaminophen inhibits central prostaglandin production by blocking COX enzymes in the brain. It increases the pain threshold and brings down fever by acting on the brain's heat-regulating centre.

Pregnancy

Zynac P Tablet 10 is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, discuss this with your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Caution is advised while taking Zynac P Tablet 10 if you are breastfeeding. Be sure to consult your doctor to understand the potential risks and benefits.

Alcohol
