Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10

Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 is used to treat intestinal parasite infections, including giardiasis and amoebiasis.

Uses of Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 are:

• Giardiasis: Targets and eliminates Giardia parasites causing intestinal infection.
• Cryptosporidiosis: Helps treat diarrhoea caused by Cryptosporidium.

• Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 should be taken only through a doctor's prescription. 
• Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Do not chew or break the tablet.
• This medication should be taken with food. 
• It should be taken as advised by the doctor.

Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10s are administered orally.

• Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 includes nitazoxanide as the active ingredient. 
• Nitazoxanide belongs to the class of antiprotozoal drugs. 
• Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 is a broad spectrum anti-infective drug. 
• This drug interferes with growth and development of parasites. In doing so, this medication kills the parasite.

• This medicine should be stored at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Store it in a cool and dry place away from moisture. 
• Keep the medicine away from children. 
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.

• Have a balanced and healthy diet.
• Get enough sleep so that your body gets sufficient rest and relief from pain. 
• Eat easy to digest food to help with diarrhoea. 
• Drink enough water and increase fluid intake to make up for loss of electrolytes in the body.  
• Take enough green vegetables and fruits in your diet. 
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.

• Avoid Zoxakind 500 Tablet 10 in case of known allergies to Nitazoxanide.   
• Take this medicine with food. 
• Consult your doctor in case you have developed severe side effects from medication.
