Zita D5 Tablet 15 is used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes when a single medicine is not enough, combining two medicines with different mechanisms.

• Type 2 Diabetes: Helps control blood sugar when a single medicine is not enough.

Follow these instructions while taking Zita D5 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

Zita D5 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Zita D5 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): Functions as a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that increases the levels of incretin hormones in your body, which stimulate your pancreas to produce more insulin when blood sugar levels are high and also reduces the amount of glucose produced by your liver.

• Dapagliflozin (5 mg): Works as a sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that blocks glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, causing excess glucose to be excreted through urine, which helps lower blood sugar levels.

• Store Zita D5 Tablet 15 below 30°C.

• Keep the tablets in their original packaging to protect them from moisture.

• Do not store in the bathroom where humidity levels are high.

• Keep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Monitor your carbohydrate intake and choose foods with a low glycaemic index (foods that release glucose slowly into your bloodstream), such as whole grains, legumes, and most fruits and vegetables.

• Engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week (like brisk walking or swimming) to help improve your body's insulin sensitivity and lower blood glucose levels.
