Zita D5 Tablet 15 is used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes when a single medicine is not enough. Good control helps reduce the long-term risk of complications such as kidney, nerve and eye damage.
It combines dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove excess sugar in the urine, and teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor that helps the body release more insulin after meals. Take it as prescribed, with or without food.
Staying well hydrated, keeping up good personal hygiene to reduce infections, a balanced diet and regular activity support better control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report signs of a urinary or genital infection, or severe stomach pain with fast or difficult breathing.
