Zidolam N 150/300/200 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults

• Prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission

• Management of HIV symptoms

• Slowing HIV disease progression

• Reduction of opportunistic infections in HIV patients

• Improvement of survival in HIV-positive individuals

• Decreasing viral load in HIV infection

• Part of combination antiretroviral therapy

Follow these instructions while taking Zidolam N 150/300/200 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Zidolam N 150/300/200 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Zidolam N 150/300/200 MG Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients:

• Zidovudine (300 mg): A nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI), this component works by interfering with the HIV reverse transcription process that is essential for viral replication, thus preventing the virus from multiplying.

• Lamivudine (150 mg): This nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) competes with natural substances in the body and incorporates into viral DNA to terminate chain elongation, preventing HIV from making copies of itself.

• Nevirapine (200 mg): As a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), it binds directly to the reverse transcriptase enzyme and blocks both RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase activities through non-competitive inhibition, stopping HIV from converting its RNA into DNA.

• Store at room temperature.

• Protect from moisture and excessive heat.

• Keep in the original container with the desiccant (moisture absorber) to maintain effectiveness.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Maintain a well-balanced, nutritious diet rich in proteins to help support your immune system, which is crucial when managing HIV infection.
