Wokadine 10% Solution 500ml is used for managing infections in minor cuts, abrasions, burns, and other skin injuries. It is a powerful antiseptic designed for external use. Commonly used to manage, the solution releases iodine, known for its broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. This slow release helps to reduce the growth of harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses, in the affected area. It is essential to use this solution on clean, dry skin and to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider. 

• Povidone Iodine (10% w/v): Povidone Iodine is the main active ingredient. It has broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties and is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. It works by slowly releasing iodine that penetrates microbial cells and oxidises essential molecules, ultimately inhibiting their growth. This makes it practical for managing infections in minor wounds and abrasions.

• Wound Infection Management: Wokadine 10% Solution may help manage infections caused by cuts and abrasions. • Always use Wokadine Solution as directed by your physician. Wet the area with water to clean the patient's skin before the procedure and after shaving the operation site. Using sterile gauze dipped in water, apply Wokadine Solution over the affected area for 2 minutes. Make a lather, and then wash off.
• For preoperative skin cleaning (disinfecting) by staff from the operating department, wet hands with water.  5 ml of Wokadine Solution should be poured onto each hand's palm and distributed evenly. Rub the scrub well for at least 2 minutes without adding more water. Clean your fingernails thoroughly. Lather up with some water added, and then thoroughly rinse under running water.
• As a topical solution, clean the affected area. Apply Wokadine Solution over the affected area, keep it uncovered or cover it with a sterile bandage.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
