Voglimac GM 1 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults by combining three antidiabetic medicines to help control both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels. Long-term blood sugar control helps reduce the risk of long-term diabetes complications, such as kidney damage, nerve damage, and heart disease.
It contains voglibose, glimepiride 1 mg, and metformin. Take it just before each main meal as prescribed, as voglibose works best when taken immediately before meals to delay carbohydrate digestion. If you develop low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia), treat it with pure glucose rather than ordinary sugar, as voglibose slows sucrose digestion.
Regular balanced meals with controlled carbohydrate content, staying active, and maintaining a healthy weight all support blood sugar management alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any intestinal disorders, kidney or liver problems. Always carry a pure glucose source. Tell your doctor if you become unwell with vomiting or dehydration. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
