Triquilar Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. When taken correctly, it is effective, and it can also make periods lighter, more regular and less painful.
It contains ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel, two hormones that work together to prevent the release of an egg, thicken cervical mucus and change the womb lining.
Take one tablet every day at the same time, following the instructions, as missing or late pills reduce how well it works. Ask your doctor what to do if you miss a pill.
Tell your doctor about any personal or family history of blood clots, high blood pressure or migraine, especially migraine with aura, before use, and mention if you smoke. Seek urgent help for calf pain or swelling, chest pain, breathlessness or sudden severe headache.
