Triolmezest 40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, especially when it is not controlled by one or two medicines. It is a combination medicine containing olmesartan medoxomil (an angiotensin receptor blocker), amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic).
Good blood pressure control helps lower the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage.
Reducing salt in your diet (including pickles, papad and packaged snacks), staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding smoking and limiting alcohol can support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Do not use this medicine during pregnancy. Before starting, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, blood salt imbalance or gout, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Stand up slowly to reduce dizziness. Your doctor may check your blood salts and kidney function. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
