TriNexovas 40 Tablet is used to reduce high blood pressure in adults who need stronger management than single-medicine treatment can offer, helping maintain long-term blood pressure stability.

Follow these instructions while taking TriNexovas 40 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet as it may affect its absorption and efficacy.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's close to your next dose time, skip the missed one. Never take two doses at once.

• Remember not to stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor first.

TriNexovas 40 Tablet combines the action of three active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker. It works by blocking the movement of calcium into the cells of your heart and blood vessels. This relaxation of blood vessels reduces the resistance to blood flow, thereby lowering your blood pressure.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. It prevents a substance called angiotensin II from binding to receptors on blood vessels, which causes them to narrow. By blocking this effect, blood vessels relax and widen, reducing blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This is a thiazide-like diuretic, a type of medicine that helps your kidneys get rid of excess water and salt from your body. By doing so, it reduces the volume of blood your heart has to pump, thus lowering your blood pressure.

• Store TriNexovas 40 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a tightly sealed container.

• Protect the tablet from light and moisture.

• Limit your salt intake: Eating too much salt can raise your blood pressure, and TriNexovas 40 Tablet is used to manage hypertension or high blood pressure. So, try to limit your daily salt intake.

• Avoid grapefruit juice: It can interact with one component of TriNexovas 40 Tablet (cilnidipine) and increase its level in your blood. It's best to avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking this medication.
