Here's how to take Olmin Trio 40 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Olmin Trio 40 Tablet acts in three distinct ways due to its combination of active ingredients:

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. What does that mean? Well, it blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptors in your blood vessels. This causes your blood vessels to widen, which lowers your blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): As a dual L-/N-type calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine stops calcium ions from entering your blood vessel walls and nerves responsible for releasing norepinephrine, a hormone that can constrict blood vessels. This results in wider blood vessels and less norepinephrine, thus reducing your blood pressure.
