Tobraject Eye Drops 10ml are used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and keratitis caused by susceptible bacteria, and to help prevent infection following eye surgery or injury.

Uses of Tobraject Eye Drops 10ml are:

• Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Clears this common eye infection and relieves associated redness.
• Blepharitis: Treats infection of the eyelid edges.
• Keratitis: Treats bacterial infection of the cornea.
• Post-Surgical Prevention: Helps prevent infection following eye surgery or injury.

To use Tobraject Eye Drops 10ml appropriately, follow these steps:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the bottle.
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye as prescribed.
• Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes without blinking excessively.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.
• Replace the cap immediately after use.

Tobraject Eye Drops 10ml are instilled topically into the eye.

Tobraject Eye Drops 10ml contains the following active ingredients:

• Tobramycin (0.3%): Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, leading to bacterial cell death. It is effective against a range of Gram-negative and certain Gram-positive organisms.
• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.00002%): A quaternary ammonium compound used as a preservative to prevent microbial contamination of the solution. It also possesses mild antimicrobial properties.
