Timsart M 40/50 MG Tablet 10 is used to control high blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk in adults who need combination treatment.

Timsart M 40/50 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Metoprolol succinate (50 mg): This is a beta-blocker that works by blocking the effects of adrenaline (a stress hormone) on your heart. It slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from narrowing your blood vessels. By blocking this hormone's receptors, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
