Tiate Transcaps 30 are used for the following:

• Long-term maintenance treatment of COPD

• Management of chronic bronchitis symptoms

• Control of emphysema-related breathing problems

• Prevention of COPD flare-ups and exacerbations

• Daily maintenance therapy for bronchospasm

• Supporting easier breathing in airway obstruction

• Long-term control of asthma symptoms

• Improvement of lung function in respiratory conditions

Follow these instructions while using Tiate Transcaps 30:

• The capsule is meant for inhalation only and should never be swallowed.

• Use the capsule with a specific inhalation device like a Lupihaler T.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• Rinse your mouth with water after using it to prevent dry mouth.

• Keep the inhalation device clean and store it in a dry place.

• Consult your doctor if you are unsure about how to use the inhalation device.

Tiate Transcaps 30 are administered via inhalation.

Tiate Transcaps 30 contain tiotropium (18 mcg), which works on the body as follows:

• Anticholinergic action: Tiotropium blocks acetylcholine receptors in the airway muscles, preventing this natural chemical from causing the airways to tighten and narrow.

• Bronchodilation: By inhibiting the action of acetylcholine, tiotropium causes the muscles in the airways to relax, leading to widening of the airways and improved airflow.

• Long-acting effect: The medicine provides sustained bronchodilation for approximately 24 hours, which is why it only needs to be taken once daily.

• Reduced mucus production: Tiotropium helps decrease the amount of mucus secretion in the airways, further improving breathing capacity.

• Store Tiate Transcaps 30 at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Do not puncture or burn the capsules, even when empty.

• Store in a safe place out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date and do not use after this date.

• Stay well-hydrated: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to breathe when you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma.

• Avoid smoke and air pollution: Try to stay away from cigarette smoke, strong fumes, and heavily polluted areas, as these can worsen your breathing problems and reduce the effectiveness of your medicine.
