Thrombophob Ointment is used to treat thrombophlebitis, where blood clots cause vein inflammation. It helps reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by penetrating the skin and promoting faster healing. The ointment contains Heparin to dissolve blood clots and Benzyl Nicotinate to improve blood flow.

Use Thrombophob Ointment as follows:

• Before applying, make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry. Washing it with soap and water and patting it dry with a towel would be ideal.
• Apply the ointment evenly on the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.
• Gently massage the ointment into your skin, ensuring you cover all of the affected area with a thin layer.
• Always wash your hands after using the ointment, to avoid spreading any potential infection.

Thrombophob Ointment is a combination medicine with two active ingredients:

• Heparin (50 IU): This is an anticoagulant that works by preventing further clot formation and extension. It aids in breaking down existing clots and facilitates the resorption of superficial microthrombi. By doing this, it reduces inflammation and swelling by decongesting the affected veins.

• Store Thrombophob Ointment at room temperature, ideally between 20°C and 25°C.
