Thrombophob Ointment 20gm

Thrombophob Ointment is used to manage pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with bruises, superficial vein disorders, and soft tissue injuries. It works by improving local blood circulation, reducing inflammation, and supporting the breakdown of small blood clots. Regular application helps relieve discomfort, minimise swelling, and promote faster recovery of the affected area. It is meant for external use only and should be applied as directed by your doctor.

• Heparin Sodium: Heparin sodium is an anticoagulant that works locally to support normal blood clotting balance. It may maintain healthy blood flow in superficial blood vessels and help manage local swelling and tissue changes.
   
• Benzyl Nicotinate: Benzyl nicotinate is a vasodilator that may widen local blood vessels when applied to the skin. This increases local blood flow and supports healthy circulation in the applied area.
   
• Other Ingredients: Preservative, Sorbic Acid IP: 1.97 mg and Excipients: q.s.

• Healthy Circulation: Thrombophob Ointment contains benzyl nicotinate, a vasodilator that may widen local blood vessels. This increases blood flow in the applied area and supports normal superficial circulation.
   
• Manages Blood Clots: Heparin sodium has anticoagulant properties that might influence the local clotting process. It helps support the body's natural mechanisms involved in maintaining healthy blood flow in superficial vessels.
   
• Reduction of Local Swelling: Heparin sodium may influence coagulation and local fluid-related tissue changes, supporting swelling management in areas affected by superficial bruising or injury.
   
• Reduces Bruising: Heparin sodium in Thrombophob Ointment may support the natural clearance of blood accumulated within superficial tissues, while benzyl nicotinate promotes local circulation. 
   
• Tissue Recovery: Benzyl nicotinate helps manage local blood vessel dilation, increasing circulation in the applied area. This may support the delivery of oxygen and nutrients required for normal superficial tissue maintenance.

• Following the physician's recommendations, Thrombophob Ointment is carefully and thinly applied to the skin, 2 to 3 times daily. 
• The ointment may also be spread on a piece of gauze, which is placed over the affected area. 
• Avoid rubbing in or massaging in thrombosis and thrombophlebitis. 
• In ulcus cruris, apply Thrombophob Ointment only to the ulcer margins. It is advisable to continue the treatment for some days after the subsidence of the morbid manifestations. 
• The reddening of the skin that follows the application of Thrombophob Ointment is a sign of the desired augmentation of blood perfusion caused by Benzyl nicotinate. 
• Mucous membranes, especially the conjunctiva, must not come in contact with Thrombophob Ointment.
