Tess Oral Paste is used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by mouth ulcers and other oral lesions, helping ease discomfort and irritation while the affected area heals.
It contains triamcinolone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, and forms a protective layer over the ulcer to shield it from further irritation while eating or talking. Apply a small amount directly to the affected area with a clean fingertip as advised by your doctor, and use it only for the short term rather than continuously.
Avoid eating or drinking immediately after using the paste so it can form an effective protective layer. Gently pat the area dry with a clean tissue before using the paste to help it adhere properly.
Consult your doctor before use, particularly if you have an oral infection, as steroids can sometimes mask or worsen infections. If there is no improvement within two weeks, or the ulcer becomes larger, more painful, or worsens, contact your doctor for further assessment.
