CompositionDynapar Aq Injection is an injectable pain-relief medicine used to relieve moderate to severe pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, muscle injuries, fractures and pain after surgery. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing diclofenac, and belongs to a class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs).
This medicine works by reducing the chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling and inflammation. It is often used when medicines taken by mouth are not effective or cannot be tolerated. It is given by a doctor or healthcare professional only, at the dose and frequency advised for your condition.
Resting the affected area and applying a cold compress, as advised by your care team, can help ease pain and swelling alongside this treatment. Gentle movement once pain allows also supports recovery.
Before receiving this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney or liver problems, or asthma, or if you are pregnant, particularly in the last three months. Like other NSAIDs it can increase the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding, kidney problems, and heart and blood pressure problems, so it should not be used for longer than needed. Tell your care team promptly about chest pain, breathing difficulty, black stools or unusual swelling.
