CompositionTerizine 10 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and year round allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes. It is also used to treat chronic hives (urticaria) and other allergic skin reactions.
It contains cetirizine, a second generation antihistamine. Take it as prescribed, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Continue taking it regularly during allergy season or for as long as your doctor advises, for consistent symptom control.
Identifying and avoiding your allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen, or pet dander, along with keeping windows closed on high pollen days, can help reduce how often you need this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or are taking other sedating medicines. Although less likely to cause drowsiness than older antihistamines, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.
