It contains terbinafine, an antifungal that works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungus. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, affected skin as directed by your doctor. Continue treatment for the full course even if symptoms clear early, to help prevent the infection from returning.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, and wear loose, breathable clothing or footwear to reduce moisture that allows fungi to thrive. Avoid sharing towels, socks or footwear with others, and dry the skin thoroughly, especially between the toes, after washing.
Avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth when applying this cream. Consult your doctor if the condition does not improve after the first week of treatment, or if you notice increased redness, burning or signs of an allergic reaction.
